A crow finds a slice of pink baloney in the alley & flies off with it.
Red carnations & white roses.
A crow preens itself on the branch of a tall birch as the dusty green leaves flutters softly in the warm afternoon breeze.
The desperate, begging sounds of newborn starling chicks hidden in a hole in a brick wall.

Wednesday

Large gray crane flies overhead in a North East direction.
Pink rosebush in full bloom.
A yellow butterfly cruises by.
Black ants crawling over my bare feet.
The smell of drying wood chips.
Eating food & drinking water at the base of a tall tree.
The air is still & warm.

Tuesday

Heavy rain like fall.
Hundreds & hundreds of red carnations.
Kisses & rubs from the kitten with green eyes.
The sky clears & the sun sets.
The smell of burning trees hanging in the morning air.
Hazy skies from the forest fires up North.
Pollen in the air like snowflakes.

Sunday

The wind in the trees.
Robins singing.
Climbing up into the big tree & resting on the thick branch.
The grey squirrel who follows me along the edge of a fence.
Blue butterfly with dirt-coloured wings sitting on the dusty path.
The sweet peace of Mother Earth on the almost last day of May.

Thursday

Sun shining.
Wild roses in bloom.
Wind moving through the green tree tops.
Giant purple irises bobbing in the warm morning breeze.
Pink & white roses, fully scented.
The smell of pink roses.
Sun on my bare skin.
Full hazy moon above the horizon.
Warm wind rustling the leaves of the big tree in the moonlight.

Sunday

White Gardenias with creamy sweet perfume.
Waves on the murky canal.
Warm wind like at sea.
Two Jack Russels barking & playing.
A sparrow squeezes into her nest under an eave.
A little whirlwind of dust & pollen in the street.
Large moving mounds of white fluffy pollen, like snow drifts.
Sunlight reflected off the river.
Willows swaying in the distance.
A grey crane flies by (eastwards).
The rose bush green & growing with little pink buds stills shut to the light.
A squirrel crosses the road.
Giant purple & white irises bob in the wind.
Giant green ferns.

Saturday

Grey skies & wet grass early on.
A small mountain of dark rich compost.
A cat cries in the distance.
A crow sits in the middle of the garden plot.
Later blue skies emerge & warm the day.

Sunday

Sun shining, skies clear & open & blue as forever.
Three (3) grey cranes fly slowly eastwards.
Yellow & red marigolds bob in the warm breeze.
A starling tries to nest above the kitchen door (again).
Sun on bare skin, warming the last of winter away.

Saturday

Grey skies & wet earth.
Wet Ginkgo Biloba leaves shivering in the afternoon rain.
A raucous chorus of little birds hidden in the pine trees.
