Wednesday

Morning sky clears itself up nicely & delivers warm sunlight to the wet earth.
The June breeze carries snowy pollen through the clean air.
Birds fly & kittens doze on different levels.
A sparrow lunches on breadcrumbs before kitten scares it off.
The green of summer is here now.

Sunday

Crows singing Sunday morning songs from the tree top.
Fluff floats though the warm, sunny air.
The heat & light of the day unravel & open slowly, with ease.

Wednesday

The first firefly of the season blinks on, snaps off, and is gone.
Pink tints along the dark water.
A lone star twinkles its arrival high above.
A swift-moving bat arcs overhead.
The sounds of the warm night rustling the flat leaves of the birch trees lining the bank of the river.

Monday

Grey waves traveling against the wind, somehow.
A grey heron dodges an aggressive black-bird over the dark water.
Green & yellow & grey & brown & wet prevail.
