Thursday

Strong winds blow the great snow storm across the day and the land, obliterating all colour except for variations of white and grey.
The snow blows horizontally from right to left, shaping snow drifts like sand dunes.
Shaggy sparrows struggle to dine in the deep snow, the wind ruffling their dark, wet feathers so they look like fat mice shivering.  Hard to hold their footings, they rise & fall against the ebb & fierce flow of the wind.

Tuesday

A host of sparrows peck through the snow hunting seeds.
Later the sky slides from grey to blue, and hits a shaggy sparrow with a sunbeam.
A murmuration of starlings watch from a bare white birch tree, greedily, most likely.
Venus twinkles to the left of the waxing snow moon.

Monday

Snow is falling from right to left.
Kitten studies the passage of Time, falling in its frozen form as fat, fresh snowflakes.

Sunday

Deep cold & bone dry.
Flat grey sky stretches over the frozen land.
